Knickers to SOCPA! Aldermaston Women Fight Back June 4, 2007

Women from the Aldermaston Women’s Peace Camp have called for a cocktail party. This is in defiance to the new laws made to protect AWE Aldermaston in Berkshire from those pesky peaceniks.
The women from the peace camp are fighting back against the new byelaws that form part of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (SOCPA). Campaigners argue that the new byelaws passed on the 31st May will threaten the protest camp.
There has been a celebratory cocktail party called for the 9th June at 6pm at the A340 Gate at AWE Aldermaston. All women are invited.
